Bingo.com Files for Patent

Method and Apparatus for Directing Interleaved Messages in a Network Based Interactive Application

MARINA DEL REY, Calif., May 24, 2000 - Bingo.com Inc. (OTC BB: BIGR), a vertical
Internet media and entertainment company, announced today that it has filed
a provisional patent application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
for a Web-based service to target and deliver specific merchandise offers
to registered users.

The service will enable Bingo.com and its partners to deliver multimedia shopping opportunities
targeted to each individual registered user at Bingo.com, while the users
play free multiplayer bingo games and chat online. For example, a player from
the East Coast who indicates a preference for grocery savings and electronic
equipment will be able to see such opportunities while at the same time a
player in Los Angeles sees new car deals and vacation packages, and so on.
The players will have an opportunity to fulfill the order without interrupting
their online game-playing experience. While the service will be integrated
into the online game-playing environment, it is modular and can also be licensed
to other online and offline companies for any product or service.

"We are very excited about the potential for this process," said Shane Murphy, CEO of Bingo.com. "It is a natural use for our one-hour average user session and represents
one of the many ways we are using our internal resources efficiently to deliver
value to our shareholders, our partners, and our ever-increasing base of registered
users. The process also provides some very intriguing opportunities to integrate
offline partners with our online capabilities, separate from Bingo game playing.
We are discussing license and distribution opportunities with possible partners."
The provisional patent application, entitled "Method and Apparatus for Directing Interleaved
Messages in a Network Based Interactive Application," was filed on April 20,
2000.
