Teenager Grabs £90k Bingo Jackpot

Young bingo player wins big at a Mecca bingo club in Leeds.

A young 19-year-old bingo player was with her dad and uncle at a Mecca bingo club in Balm Road, Hunslet, when she won big on a lucky Saturday night.

Winning the National Bingo Game prize of £90,000, she had completed a full house in only 31 numbers, the lowest call of all 470 bingo clubs playing nationwide.

She was quoted to have said, "I was absolutely shocked when they told me how much I had won. I just felt like crying."

The lucky young lady had been playing bingo once a week since May, and although she had won small prizes before, this was her first big win.
