Newcastle: Next Lucky Destination?

Large wins continue to flow from the region of Newcastle.

The proof is in the pudding with bingo, and more big wins seem to be originating from Newcastle during the National Bingo Game. And the latest two were both major wins, too - at £50,000 pounds each!

The first win came for a 57-year-old lady from Gosforth, as she took her bingo in only 42 calls, grabbing her the house prize of £190. She was informed shortly thereafter that she had also won the National prize, elevating her good fortunes to a whopping £50,190!

The lucky bingo lady has been a regular for over 13 years, and frequents the hall with her 73-year-old mother. She had only this to say about her win: "I haven't recovered yet... I couldn't stop shaking and I felt sick. I thought it was all a dream and I couldn't believe it."

Later that same evening, the national prize soared to an amazing £100,000, which would be won and shared by another two lucky women. One was a player at the Mecca Bingo Hall in Holmeside, the other hailing from Kettering, Northants. Their wins were simultaneous in 41 calls, giving them both a outstanding £5l,000 each!

The local winner had reason to celebrate indeed, as she was to turn 52 the very next week! She had been an avid bingo player for just five years, and plans to spoil her family rotten with her winnings.

It seems the luck does indeed abound in Newcastle, and these and other wins are the proof!
