These are a refreshing and tasty treat on a hot summer day. Don't worry if you don't have frozen pop molds for the freezer, you can use anything from mini yogurt cups to any kind of small plastic or wax paper cups, pour in your ingredients, then add a wooden spoon or popsicle stick and freeze.
In case your liquid popsicle mix isn't thick enough to keep your stick standing upright in the freezer, you can let the solution freeze for an hour or so and then insert the sticks. Then continue freezing until totally frozen!
INGREDIENTS
* 1 (8 ounce) container low-fat vanilla-flavored yogurt
* 1/2 cup finely chopped cherries
* 1/4 cup 100% cherry juice
* 1 tablespoon honey
* 6 (2 ounce) frozen pop molds with handles
DIRECTIONS
1. Stir together yogurt, cherries, juice and honey in small bowl. For easier chopping, chop cherries when frozen.
2. Spoon yogurt mixture into 2-ounce freezer pop molds and insert handles. If using wax paper cups, spoon mixture into cups and cover each with foil. Cut a small hole in center of each foil top and insert a pop stick.
3. Freeze about 6 hours or until firm.
