Pop singer Stefani wants her 2-year-old son to name his unborn sibling.
No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani and husband Gavin Rossdale have decided to let their two-year-old son, Kingston, name their unborn baby. Eager to involve young Kingston in welcoming the new addition to the celebrity family, they have been taking suggestions from their first child in the hopes that he won't feel too left out when the new baby arrives.
Pregnancy hasn't been easy on the pop princess, who has found being with child "tough" (according to Brit rocker husband Gavin Rossdale). Stefani's first time around was a joy, but her second pregnancy has been more difficult: "Gwen really wasn't well and it was tough for her. She was really tired," said hubby Rossdale.
Perhaps all she needs is a little relaxation and downtime, and they say the game of bingo is perfect for that. So if you're reading this, Gwen, you should grab a gal pal and head over to the nearest air-conditioned bingo hall and try daubing those baby blues away.
Due in August, the baby should have some fun options for names, what with the creativity of a toddler having a part in the naming process. With the limited vocabulary typical of two year olds, we're anticipating such possibilities for names as "Juice", "Monkey" or the obvious, "Baby". Or possibly, "Bingo" will be his name-oh!
