Daughter Bingos On Mum's Money

Wigan woman wins £45k bingo jackpot on borrowed money.

Most mothers will be familiar with this story: Amy Ramsdale convinced her mum to accompany her to the local Gala Bingo club to play bingo, but upon arrival at the club, admitted she had no money to pay for entry herself.

Amy's mother then agreed to buy the tickets, and much to their surprise, 20-year-old nursing student Amy bingoed and won an enormous bingo jackpot of £45,000.

According to National Bingo Amy said: "I burst into tears when I realized how much I had won." She also added that it was "so nice" to be so warmly congratulated by her fellow club bingo players at Wigan's Gala bingo club.

Lucky daughter Amy has decided to share her winnings equally with her mother.
