Little by little, Halloween is getting closer. We have been talking about all the spooky bingo games that we are going play that fun night, and we already know the history of this celebration as well as which costume we will wear this year. But what is the traditional traditional Halloween decoration? The famous pumpkin.

Here are some tips on how to make a perfectly spooky Halloween pumpkin and you will have fun making them with all your bingo friends.
Choosing the perfect pumpkin
Before you begin to sculpt your creation make sure you choose the perfect pumpkin. Choose the design that you will use and that will help you pick the size and shape of the pumpkin that you need. We recommend that you pick a young pumpkin rather than an old one, since it will last longer.
Templates
There are thousands of templates you can use to create fun pumpkins. You can find several here
To work!
With a sharp knife cut the top of the pumpkin and save it as it will be useful later on. With a small knife we will draw the border of the contents we will extract. We will leave an inch thick so that the pumpkin will remain solid. Spoon the stuffing out of it; if it's to hard you can use a bigger and harder spoon. Save what it comes out of the pumpkin in a container, you can use this on a delicious pie or soup.
Pick the template that you will use and trim the extra paper with scissors. Stick the template to the pumpkin with a bit of tape.
With a pin or a sharp pencil beam a path of points following the lines of the design. Then with a good sharp knife carefully slice though the dotted line. After that just draw the shaded area on the template. To take out the pieces easier you can cut them into small sections. Then remove all the little leftover pieces with a small knife.
The candle
The most appropriate candles for your pumpkin are the little tea-lights with their own little metal holders. They are cheap and last longer because despite being completely melted they will continue working. Most pumpkins require only a candle but you can put two or three, it depends on the design and how bright you want it.
After placing the candle inside, put the top of the pumpkin again. You can put your new spooky pumpkin on the door step to spook your trick or treaters or inside on a window sill so everyone can enjoy it. It's not as easy as playing bingo but I assure you that your house will look spectacular with your new pumpkin.
